Bee Hives Return to Wood Park
May 11

We are pleased to welcome back the hives to the Gardens of Uren Food Group.  After a very cold winter they are already enjoying the warm spring with regular trips to the Botanical gardens nearby.  Look out of regular updates on how the hives are doing.

We are proud to announce our sponsorship of Peter Dunning and invite you to follow his journey, the pinnacle of which we hope will be the Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia in 2014.

In Peter's own words:

"On one hot, sunny day in Afghanistan my life changed in a split second;  I was the unsuspecting victim of one of the largest known IED's out in Afghan. As a result, I lost both of my legs, fractured my spine, punctured a lung and received multiple burns around my body and I lost a dear friend. 

That was over two years ago now; and I now have new goals, dreams and ambitions.  Going through rehabilitation an offer came up for me to go skiing.  'Skiing!! without legs are you crazy'  I thought, but I was interested and so I went along on a two weeks training package and I loved it.  I had well and truly been bitten by the bug."
