Storage and Shelf Life
Pistachios store well, but the right conditions make all the difference.
Ambient Storage
Pistachios have a shelf life of up to 9 months if kept dry and sealed.
Refrigeration
Both shelled and in-shell pistachios stay fresh for up to 12 months when stored in airtight containers in the fridge.
Freezing
For long-term storage, freezing is an option for 1-2 years to maintain flavour and texture.

Can I order pistachios in small quantities?
Yes. We supply both smaller quantities or bulk in the UK, depending on your requirements.
How long do pistachios last in storage?
At room temperature, several months. In the fridge, up to a year. Frozen, up to three years. We’ll advise based on your usage and format.
Are your pistachios suitable for plant-based products?
Absolutely. All formats are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with no added animal ingredients or processing aids.
What’s the difference between Iranian and USA pistachios?
Iranian pistachios have a richer, more buttery flavour and roast well at higher temperatures. USA pistachios are milder, more uniform in size, and better suited for processed snacks.
