IQF Button Mushrooms

The button mushroom, known as Agaricus bisporus is an edible basidiomycete mushroom native to grasslands in Europe and North America. They can be both white or brown in their immature states. It is cultivated in more than 70 countries worldwide and is one of the most popularly consumed mushrooms in the world, and is used in a wide range of dishes including soups, pasta, sauces, salads, stir fry, and garlic mushrooms. In the U.S. the white button mushroom accounts for around 90% of all mushrooms sold.

IQF Oyster Mushrooms

Pleurotus Oastreatus, the pearl oyster mushroom or tree oyster is a common edible mushroom, originating in Germany, but it now grown worldwide. It is one of the most commonly sought wild mushrooms, and its name comes from the shape of the mushrooms body. Oyster mushrooms have a slightly chewy texture and are soft with a bittersweet aroma reminiscent of anise. When cooked, they have a mild and nutty, seafood-like flavour

IQF Shiitake Mushrooms

The shiitake mushroom is an edible mushroom native to East Asia, and is popular for use in Asian cuisine. Shiitake Mushrooms are tan to dark brown with caps that grown between 5-10cm. They grow on naturally decaying hardwood trees. Like portabella mushrooms, shiitakes have a meaty texture. Cooking brings out their earthy, smoky flavour. Shiitakes are often sautéed, or added to stir-fries, soups, or pasta.

IQF mushrooms all have the same great taste, texture, aroma, health benefits and nutrients as fresh mushrooms but with a much longer shelf life, which maximises their convenience.
