In July, Jo a member of our transport team and her daughter Jane took part in the Liverpool Poppy Quest for the Royal British Legion, a cause close to both their hearts. The 10k walking challenge is a fun and interesting way to raise money by solving puzzles and answering questions whilst also discovering Liverpool.
Jo’s father Frank joined the Royal Navy as he turned 18, serving right up until VJ Day in 1945. Frank was also a member of the Royal British Legion his whole life. This cause has a special place in the hearts of Uren employees as with many people around the country. An amazing sum was raised, and we’re proud to have supported Jo & Jane with their efforts!!!
