This season the crop is late in the north American growing regions, which increases the risk that not all berries will be harvested. If there is an early frost at the end of August (which is not unheard of), it could significantly impact the supply and prices could rapidly rise, depending on the extent of the frost. Over all the crop quality has improved compared to last season however the volume of crop is lower overall and with the factor of currency being unstable, prices are looking to rise in the new season.
